Community Based Education Programme

ABSK with the motto of ‘education to all’ initiated Community Based Education program since 2005, now reaches out to 2300 primary school children, 1228 high school children, their parents, and 132 young leaders from underprivileged tribal communities to attain their right to education. Key components of the program include construction of new coaching centers in 119 sub centers partially contributed by the people for children to return to schoolsol, with training in joyful learning techniques.

ABSK through the Community managed education programme reaching the most corner of Burdwan district and Asansol subdivision. Our Village level Animator (VLA) methodology successfully implemented throughout the district. Parents now take complete responsibility of their children’s education and support other poor children. So we shifted to Community managed Education programme in the year 2007 where our urge – “INCLUDE ME”. Community as an active participator acts as a catalyst of change towards betterment, where community is the sole decision maker and owner of our programme.
